Senior Solution Consultant
As the Senior Salesforce Consultant, you will lead the discovery, solutioning, and architecture of Salesforce implementations for our nonprofit clients, working closely with project managers and developers to shape technology strategy from the earliest stages of an engagement through go-live. You will run requirements elicitation sessions directly with client stakeholders, translate complex business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions, and design the underlying architecture for Nonprofit Cloud and connected systems. You will bring a project management and change management mindset to every engagement, anticipating risk, sequencing work for adoption, and helping clients navigate the organizational shifts that come with a new platform. Activities may include leading discovery and requirements workshops, designing solution architecture and data models, evaluating build vs. configure vs. AppExchange tradeoffs, overseeing complex data migrations, guiding client change management planning, and mentoring junior consultants on the project team.
Requirements:
At least 7+ years of Salesforce consulting experience, with significant time spent in the nonprofit sector
Deep experience with Nonprofit Cloud, including data model, program management, case management, and grants management capabilities
Proven experience leading enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations, ideally spanning multiple departments or business units
Strong understanding of Fundraising, Grants, Program Management, and Case Management processes, with the judgment to design solutions across them, not just configure within them
Demonstrated ability to lead requirements elicitation directly with executive-level and technical client stakeholders
Strong solution architecture skills, including data modeling, integration design, and platform scalability planning
Working knowledge of change management principles and experience guiding clients through user adoption and organizational change
Comfort operating with a project management lens: scoping, sequencing, risk identification, and stakeholder communication
Proficient with declarative customization (validation rules, flows) and familiar enough with Apex/Visual Force to evaluate when custom development is the right call
Experience evaluating, recommending, and integrating AppExchange and complementary ecosystem products
Ability to lead and mentor a project team of consultants, developers, and administrators
Ability to create clear architecture documentation and present solutions to non-technical audiences
Excellent communication, facilitation, and time management skills
Salesforce Administrator and Nonprofit Cloud certifications required; Application Architect or similar advanced certifications preferred
