The Coalition for Rainforest Nations (CfRN) seeks responsible stewardship of the World’s last great rainforests through innovative strategies which integrate social, economic and scientific rationales to achieve environmental and social sustainability.
CfRN originated the global conservation mechanism – Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation (REDD+) to stop deforestation. REDD+ was successfully mandated in the Paris Climate Agreement (2015), and covers 90% of the world’s tropical rainforests forests.
CfRN achieves their vision through policy support, training & capacity building, and direct finance.

Key constituent, partner, and stakeholder data managed in spreadsheets and separate data sources
Online fundraising data stored in separate applications, disconnected from constituent information
Grant details (status, requirements, deliverables, payment schedules, etc.) managed in spreadsheets and separate data sources
The lack of a centralized CRM was preventing CfRN from having a complete view of a constituent's engagement with the organization. And the disjointed fundraising applications made it difficult to track, measure, and project against fundraising goals. It became critical to transition off of these disparate systems and into one centralized platform. By doing so, the organization would have one 360-degree view of their constituents, the ability to track engagement and build relationships with their constituents, and create more opportunities for synergy between programs and development.
